GI-MAP
Gut Health Assessment
Comprehensive GI-MAP analysis that reveals the complete picture of your gut microbiome, including beneficial bacteria, pathogens, and digestive function markers.
The GI-MAP uses quantitative PCR technology, the same method used in clinical research settings, to detect and measure specific bacterial, parasitic, and fungal DNA in your stool sample.

Scope of service
What this is, and what it isn't
- Can this take the place of seeing a clinician?
- No. SomaFleur is a wellness and educational service, not a medical practice. Our assessments are not diagnostic tests, we do not diagnose or treat conditions, and we do not prescribe medication. Your report is written to be understood on your own and to be shared with your clinician, who remains the right person to make decisions about your care.
- So what does it actually give me?
- It gives you a detailed, plain-language picture of your own biology that most standard panels do not cover, so you can walk into an appointment with specific data and specific questions instead of a vague sense that something is off. Many people find that shortens the path to being taken seriously.
- When is testing the wrong first step?
- If you have symptoms that need attention now, see a clinician first. Testing is not the right starting point for anything urgent, and it is not a substitute for evaluation of a symptom that is worrying you. If you are pregnant, managing a diagnosed condition, or taking prescribed medication, talk to your clinician before making changes based on any report.
